>Hello again!  It's almost been two weeks here now and I think I'm just about over the jet lag.  Things are going well and I'm slowly starting to understand more of what is being said around me - but most of the meaning still escapes me.  I don't have much time, so I will try to respond quickly to the questions you asked.  I painted my bike a yellowy/beige with "puke green" highlights...it looks kind of cool actually, like an army vehicle.  So far, I still have it.  I think as long as I always lock it, it will be fine.  It cost me (accessories and all) $9200.  Not bad, eh?  Actually, it's probably more than I spent on my one at home...it's probably be about $400 canadian.  I do ride it every day.  Yesterday we rode soooooo far...my legs are pretty sore today.  We went to Tailuga National park today with a part member family...we walked it.  It was very similar to the Narrows in UT, except we were above the water on a path that was in the mountain...not quite as cool as hiking through the water, but it wouldn't be allowed for missionaries anyway.  I'm not sure what kind of paw was in the soup, but it was dog-gone good soup (I'm going to use that joke in a duplicate letter that I send to all the addresses I have, so try to laugh next time rather than "ughhh").  It has barely rained at all thus far.  It was a bit cold at times, but recently it's been very nice...even quite hot at times...makes me wonder what summer will be like...I'll find out soon.  We buy food for breakfast and then eat out for lunch and dinner.  During the chinese new year we will be fed for most of those meals and consequently be able to save some money.  The branch has over two hundred members, but only about 100 are active.  The member we rode for hours to go visit yesterday said she wanted to and would come to church...it made the long ride well worth it - we had an addess, but no phone number, so the trip was necessary and turned out great...amazing because most of the people we go to see or most of the appointments we make, the people don't show or aren't home.  OH, by the way, yes, email is only for direct family members.  NOW to answer the other Schulzke family's questions...My name is Shi Kai Long zhang lao (the zhang lao = elder...shi is rock, kai is triumphant, and long is dragon - a very cool character).  We haven't yet met with any of those people we met on the street my first day, but maybe in the near future.
