>Hello Mama and all!

>It is a beautiful day in Hualien - about 30C as it often is.  Us ten missionaries from the area, went together, with three other members, for about an hour long bike ride to a sehr schon (feicheng hao) lake.  Things haven't changed much lately - I will try to keep you up to date on the major events and happenings.

>My second copied letter should reach 31 Burnside Dr soon and then I trust Mama or Lanzer will send a scanned copy to all the family.  ...  Also, I forgot to include Emily Lim in my list - she was one of the only ones to write me at the MTC - so could you send them to her and apologize for me - I don't have her address here...her email address is in my hotmail account ...

>A few more things before I address what Mama wrote to me...

>ANYONEWHOHASATESTIMONYOFTITHING: we've been asked to obtain a written testimony of tithing from a friend, family member, whoever...so if you could write one and send it by mail (if more than one of you can do that, maybe you can email them to one address and one of you send them all) because I don't think I'm able to print off emails here ...

>Now.  It's Wednesday and I haven't heard from Doug.  It's too bad.  If I don't see him at church on Sunday, I probably wont get to see him.  Tell him hello from me and sorry we didn't get to play ball.

>I'm sorry to hear that there was an illness going around there.  That's too bad.  I hope everyone is better now.  Actually, I was pretty sick about the second or third week I was here.  I was coughing like crazy and probably had some sort of Flu.  I even went to the hospital, but that was really unnecessary - it was just because Sister Perkins said I should.  I think it was just from being very tired/drained and then riding my bike in the cold rainy Taiwan winter.  The illness lasted for a couple of weeks - throughout which I never stopped to rest, which is probably why I didn't get better for a while, but that's missionary work - non stop.  I didn't say anything to you because I didn't want to worry you.  I'm fine now and sure I will be throughout the rest of my mission.

>Lanzer, I'm anxious to hear about your job.  It sounds like you sent a letter which is great - it's so nice to receive letters, but you could write an email.  Emails are easier, aren't they?

>I hope that Mama and Papa will be able to go to Salt Lake for Talsan and Alicia's sealing - from what I remember, the ceiling at the SL Temple is beautiful:)

>...  I do appreciate [letters] though and thoroughly enjoy reading them.  I would love to hear from all of you personally when you get a chance.  Happy Birthday Trajan!  I know it's still a little way away, but I figured I'd say it now incase I forget later.  That gives me and idea.  Happy Birthday Everyone!

>Love, your son, brother (in law), and uncle,  Tyrus
